Tampa, FL – Cathy Collins, backed by Avego Healthcare Capital, has completed the acquisition of Insearch, a private US site network and will become the new Chief Executive Officer.
Insearch’s network currently has 93 research sites and 290 Principal Investigators nationwide.
Cathy Collins founded Insearch in 2008. She is a seasoned clinical trial professional with over 23 years of experience at the senior leadership level. She has managed over 100 research centers in her career, including the development of 13 new research clinics. Cathy co-founded Meridien Research in 2000 and also served as Vice President of Operations for two national site management organizations – Clinical Studies LTD and Protocare Trials.
“I am excited to return to Insearch during an exciting time of growth,” Cathy said. “While I was away, Insearch greatly expanded their therapeutic capabilities while adding high quality partners to the research network.”
As Chief Executive Officer, Cathy will help develop programs and processes for the network sites.
